Early Results Good for Some Canadians Canadians Jim Clunie and Jaret Llewellyn are starting their season off with a bang at two events held recently in Australia. Kreg Llewellyn, while posting some good results, wasn't so fortunate. Jim Clunie won the opening event of the 1996 World Jump Cup series with a personal best leap of 63.2m, just edging out Jaret, who scored 62.7m. Kreg was 5th at 59.4m. The next day, in the finals of the Moomba Masters, Jaret won the Men's Overall title ahead of Italy's Andrea Alessi and Patrice Martin of France, the current Men's World Overall champion. Jaret finished 2nd in jump (behind American Carl Roberge) and 2nd in tricks (behind Martin). Jim Clunie was 5th in jump and Kreg Llewellyn was 5th in tricks and 6th in slalom. During slalom, however, Kreg caught his arm in the handle and suffered a dislocated elbow.
