Shortlines On the Net For those of you who haven't kept up since we told you all about water skiing the Internet (Winter '94), check out OWSA member Terry Jones' work at http://www.utoronto.ca/ski/water . Not only will you find lots of Canadian and Ontario content, but you can connect to lots of other stuff put up by Americans, ski boat companies, etc. If you're looking for AWSA information, you can access it through the Canadian home page or go direct to the U.S. site at http://waterski.net . And if you don't have Internet access and would like to see it all in action, drop by the OWSA booth at the Toronto International Boat Show, where thanks to Terry we'll have the water ski net up and running. New Booth Location at TIBS Major construction of the new Trade Centre at the CNE grounds has caused some changes to booth locations at this years' Toronto International Boat Show. Among those affected is- us! Instead of our traditional location, this year the OWSA will be at booth UE- 13E- still the Upper East Annex, but now in the middle instead of the north west corner. Look for us! Lorne Flower Judy Rini reports that Lorne Flower, Water Ski Canada President 1973-74, has passed away at his Kingston home. (more) Cornwall Ski Site Jean Luc Cardinal reports that his site is ready to go- just in time for winter! Filling the new lake with water was completed just before the first winter storm, and the site should be ready to ski next spring. "It's going to be a long winter" says Jean- Luc, anticipating a first run which will culminate a huge project for the Cardinals. Congratulations from the OWSA!
