Help Wanted! We need help! Some of the following positions are required by OWSA affiliated clubs and camps, others by the OWSA itself. Some are paid positions, some volunteer (if it's volunteer, we say so in the ad). But they all involve summer's greatest sport...why not take a look and see if there's something for you? (format 2 columns ?) Instructors (2) needed for OWSA Water Ski Pro Clinic program. The successful candidates will deliver day- long water ski clinics to hosts across Ontario in July and August 1996. In '95 the Pro Clinic covered 13,000 km and delivered 29 clinics. Qualifications: minimum Level 1 Award of Merit from Ontario Water Ski Instructors Course; work experience as a water ski instructor; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a broad range of clients; self-starter with ability to assist in program coordination and set up with a minimum of supervision. CPR and first aid certification an asset. Send your resume to OWSA before March 31, 1996. Tournament Coordinator (possibly volunteer or honorarium) for Ontario sanctioned events. Responsibilities include assisting organizer and officials to ensure standard registration and record-keeping is performed properly, coordinating delivery of materials between tournament site and OWSA office. A perfect opportunity for a tournament skier who attends the majority of events- fulfilling the position should not interfere with your regular preparation and competiton schedule. Volunteer Coordinator(s) needed for the OWSA Slalom Challenge recreational slalom program. Duties include coordinating distribution of support materials, media releases, collection and organization of results, and assistance with the "Cottage Cup" recreational slalom championship. Contact Paul Jurbala at the OWSA office. Wakeboard/Kneeboard Series Assistants (Volunteer) needed to help with organizatiion of Ontario's fastest growing water ski program. If you would like to assist with the organization of one or more events in the series, give the OWSA office a call! Take part in Ontario's biggest Boat and Cottage Shows by volunteering at the OWSA booth! We need helpers for the Toronto International Boat Show (Jan 13-21), Cottage Life Show (Mississauga, Mar 29-31), and CottageFest (Barrie, June 7-9).
