CLUNIE JUMPS TO SECOND PLACE FINISH


Jim Clunie (Tisdale, SK) placed second in the jump event at the 
Extreme World Cup, held this weekend in Toronto.  Clunie jumped a 
distance of 56.7 metres (186 feet), just shy of Kyle Eade's winning 
jump of 57 metres (187 feet).  Placing a close third was John Swanson 
with a jump of 56.4 metres (185 feet).

Jim Clunie will now be travelling to Halifax, Nova Scotia to compete 
in the Canadian National Championships August 19-23.
